New American SSBB Home Run Contest Record
Hey everyone, as many of you might be aware - we suffered from the digg effect yesterday. We were down for almost 8 hours, and we’ve been assured Mario Tube will never go down again in any similar cases!
You might remember the SSBB Home Run Contest post we made last month - it appears that the previous US record has been completely shattered as you’ll see in this amazing Super Smash Bros Home Run Contest record video. The previous US record was 6792.9 ft to our knowledge, but in this clip you’ll see what two brothers marth1 and Mattador managed to achieve - the new US HRC Record: 14733.7 ft played using Ganon and Ice.

This has to be fake. Number one, at it lands, you’ll notice that the distance marker shows 4700 and NOT 14,700. Number two, well, at the very end, wouldn’t it say new record? In fact, if this is real, then it’s not the world record. It would be whatever the highest record on their Wii is… and it’s not this. AHA!
Thoughts? Comments? Anyone disagree? I’m dying to hear!
